Lyn Eisner represents clients on a broad range of tax, business, and estate and trust matters. Her estate planning practice includes all aspects of sophisticated estate and gift tax planning, generation-skipping tax planning, retirement benefit planning, insurance and real estate issues, and the representation of closely-held businesses with attention to issues of wealth succession. She assists clients with their non-tax objectives, such as liability issues and promoting ease of asset transfer at death.
Ms. Eisner’s estate and trust administration practice includes supporting our team of paralegals to provide an orderly administration of an estate or trust to implement a decedent’s intention and to preserve assets for succeeding generations. She is involved with complex post-mortem tax planning, including the use of disclaimers and optimal federal estate and generation skipping tax-related elections and allocations. She assists clients in exploring and exercising options available under the new Pennsylvania Trust Act and with proceedings at the Orphans’ Court and appellate levels.
She received a B.S. degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University Honors Program, an M.Ed. from West Chester University, a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, and an LL.M. (Taxation) from Villanova University. After graduation from law school, she was a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Zoran Popovich of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Eisner is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
